Hello,
I've been using your M3 plugin for a few days now with great pleasure, even though I haven't mastered everything yet.
I'd like to share some ideas for improvements to the interface and usability.
I'm not a big fan of textured backgrounds, but that's a matter of taste…
For the Satellite, in addition to the groups that can be created, I'd like to see predefined groups (the main ones: Drums, Bass, Guitars, etc.) and to be able to associate a color with them, if possible, with a wider color palette.
Having predefined groups would also allow access to the presets for that group only.
For example, for the "Drums" group: Kick, Snare, Hi-hat, etc.
For the main interface, I created a small mockup to make it more understandable (English is not my native language).
I tried to simplify the interface a bit.
In the upper section (Selected Track/All Channels/Master section), I think all values should have white text for better readability.
In the lower section, the group color is directly displayed in the background of the title.
Clicking on the arrow next to the group name takes you directly to the presets in that same group (as in the satellite).
The ability to expand (or extend) the window to access other tracks isn't very aesthetically pleasing, in my opinion, because it disrupts the user interface. I prefer scrolling with the mouse, or with the cursor at the bottom of the screen.
One idea for accessing "hidden" tracks would be to have tabs corresponding to the created groups, and clicking on them would take you directly to these groups.
So, these are a few ideas, and I hope they can be a source of inspiration for you.
Best regards,
Jean-Michel

I encourage other members to share their ideas for improvement.

Seems like Menno tackled the most prominent issues with 1.03! Thanks!
Hello,
I watched the "In-Depth M3 Manual" video this morning, and for me, Cubase automatically retrieves the track name.
Here's my configuration:
Cubase Pro 14
Mac Studio M4
macOS Sequoia 15.6.1
It would be interesting to also retrieve the track color; I know it's possible.
Otherwise, I've had the same "bug" twice, which means I no longer have any sound.
The only solution I've found is to start from scratch...
I'll try to figure out what's going on and see if I can reproduce it.
Best regards,
Jean-Michel
Jean-Michel, these are some great ideas. I'm all about efficiency and already have plans to add many more powerful new features to M3...these will definitely improve the workflow as well.👍 Thanks and feel free to reach out anytime. - Menno
