Hello, All Kicks/808 Kicks should be set to -25LUFS. If an 808 Kick needs to be more of a background sub-kick move it down level-planes until it sits where you like it. A "Level-Plane" is an increment of +/-5dB. Also, +/-3dB is used to set two exact elements playing at the same time to a specific LUFS level. 2 Kick elements set at -25LUFS will create a total level of -22LUFS when played together....so, dropping both by -3dB you will create a total LUFS of -25LUFS (-28LUFS + -28LUFS = -25LUFS).
